A powerful dual-cam 2.0 liter inline 4cylinder engine produces 141 hp at 5,700 rpm and torque numbers of 135 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm. A manual five-speed transmission is standard for the 2008 Suzuki Aerio SX, but a four-speed is also available.
