2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse runs on pure power under the hood. In terms of the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse trans., the RS comes standard with a 5 speed manual transmission, while the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, Eclipse GT, and GTS models come standard with the patented Sportronic sequential shift 4 speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control.
