Engine 2.0 Liter DOHC 16 Valve 4 Cylinder Engine The DX is equipped with a smooth running 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that delivers lively performance. It produces 130 hp and 135 lb ft of torque.

Transmissions The 4 cylinder DX comes with a responsive 5 speed manual overdrive transmission, while the LX V6 and the ES V6 both have a 4 speed electronically controlled automatic transmission that delivers crisp, quick shifting. The 4 speed's electronic controls help you get the most out of the engine by keeping the transmission in low gear when you need more power and reducing the gear "hunting" many automatics experience.

Towing Package Got a pop top camper, personal watercraft or dirt bikes to tow? Equip your Tribute with the Towing Package available on LX V6 or ES V6. The Towing Package includes a frame mounted hitch receiver with a 3,500 pound towing capacity, an engine oil cooler, tow bar and a trailer wiring harness.
