There are 4 models of the Yukon available. Models include the Yukon and Yukon XL, the Denali and Denali XL. The new GMC Yukon XL Denali comes standard with air bags for driver and right front passenger and includes Passenger Sensing System. The new sound system features Bose luxury speaker system, enhanced performance amplification, Audio Pilot noise reduction feature, 9 speakers including sub woofer. The instrumentation panel is analog and includes speedometer, odometer with trip odometer, fuel level, voltmeter, engine temperature, oil pressure, tachometer and transmission temperature.
2008 GMC Yukon Denali includes the hydroboost brake booster utilizes the vehicle's power steering pump pressure as the energy source for providing brake assist. Brake assist with the hydroboost is not affected by higher elevations since its energy source is not affected by elevation. The driver may also benefit from the greater total assist available from the hydroboost.

2008 GMC Yukon safety
All 2000 GMC passenger cars will come with several brackets in the back seat for anchoring the tether straps. Light trucks, vans, and pickups were required to have these brackets in the GMC 2001 models.
If your car is not a 2000 model, you can usually obtain a tether anchor kit made especially for GMC's at your local GMC dealership. Some are easy to install yourself; others require a mechanic. Tether straps for many 1997-1999 car seats are available from the seats' manufacturers. Be sure to use the one specifically designed for your car seat. All 2008 GMC Yukon's should have tethers factory installed.
