2008 Ford Focus LX and Focus SE sedans have a split-port induction system designed to balance your needs for power and economy, The peak output is 110 hp @ 5,000 rpms. New for 2003, the SPI engine has a new dualmode crankshaft damper for refinement and re-calibrated management computers for better drive response. The engine powering the new 2003 and next year's 2008 Ford Focus SVT is a modified version of Ford's 2.0 L Zetec engine with peak output of 170 hp at 7,000 rpm.
