The 2008 2009 Ford Excursion SUV's, Excursion XLT, Excursion XLT Premium, Excursion Eddie Bauer and Excursion Limited. All come with a 5.4L SEFI Triton V8 engine. The other available engines are the 6.8L Triton V-10 engine, 6.0L turbo diesel engine with TorqShift 5speed automatic transmission and the 7.3 L Power Stroke Diesel V8 with electronic 4speed automatic overdrive transmission. The optional 7.3L Power Stroke diesel V8 engine produces 250 horsepower at 2600 rpm and 525 lb.ft. torque at 1600 rpm. All models come with and electronic 4speed auto O/D transmission.
